In this blog, we will be discussing the benefits, side effects of this tea, and simple steps to prepare it using home ingredients.
What Exactly Is Coconut Chai Tea?
Pure Coconut Chai Tea is made by using real Coconuts and first-class Green Tea. Rather than any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
This tea is preferred as either Bubble or Ice tea using coconut as the main ingredient or just simply as a hot beverage.
Known for its beautiful color and aroma, this unique tea packs a natural caffeine punch and has numerous micro-nutrients. It can be a suitable replacement for coffee.
What Does Coconut Tea Taste Like?
Coconut Chai tea has a naturally sweet and…well obviously, a coconut-like taste! You can get the balanced glow and flavor of Ceylon black tea along with the velvety, thick, and creamy texture from the coconut shavings in just one cup.
The Coconut Chai tea blend displays a perfectly sugary, warm aroma, along with a soft finish.
Coconut Chai Tea can have somewhat different flavors if brewed differently. If you are looking for a creamier flavor, try adding a small amount of milk to enhance the taste and texture of the coconut.
Conversely, if you are seeking a more calming flavor, try making the tea cold. By doing so, you will get a slightly less creamy and lighter taste.
How to Make Coconut Chai Tea?
Coconut Chai Tea can be made as both iced tea and hot tea. This tea is crammed with caffeine; therefore, it is an excellent substitute for hot coffee or any other drink on sunny summer days.
There are two different types of Coconut Chai teas you can make, the methods of which are listed below.
Boil some sliced ginger, eight crushed cardamoms, one teaspoon of peppercorn, and eight cloves in a bowl with about 6 cups of water.
Switch the burner off and soak six tea bags for about 5 minutes and then take out these bags and soak again for about 10 minutes.
Add ¼ cup of light brown sugar in a saucepan and bring 1 cup of milk to simmer, then strain the black tea that we prepared and add it to this mixture of milk that we made earlier.
Lastly, we heat our blend for another 1 minute, whip it, and finally serve it with some cinnamon biscuits!
How To Make Coconut Black Chai Tea?
Coconut Black Chai Tea is another type of Coconut Chai Tea which can be prepared at your own home just by following the simple steps:
Start by taking a spoonful of any black coconut tea and then put it in a teabag or water bottle or strainer.
Now you can go with either Hot Tea or Iced Tea, If you’re brewing hot tea then we suggest a water temperature of 100° Celsius, and if you’re brewing it cold, you should still brew it hot and then afterward pour it over ice. This will help in getting a more vibrant and strong flavor!
Add the tea leaves into the water (Hot or cold). We suggest brewing the Coconut Black Chai Tea for 3 min. But, you can brew it for a longer time as well; the longer you brew it, the stronger and richer the taste will get.
You should not brew the tea cold because of the strong flavor of the coconut. Therefore you should brew first hot for 5 min before adding it to the ice.

Furthermore, coconut is thought to be suitable for everyday worries like constipation and morning sickness during the period of pregnancy.
But, drinking it in a large quantity may not be good because of the caffeine content in the tea. So you should consider decaffeinated teas, after consulting your doctor concerning any possible dangers.
