How to Brew Black Tea

Perfect way to make the delicious cup of a black tea every time.

  • Measuring Cup
  • Measuring Spoon for Loose Tea
  • Electric Kettle with Temperature Settings
  • Teapot with Infuser
  • Timer or Stop Watch
  • Cup or Mug


  • 1 tbsp Tea Leaves
  • As Per Taste Sugar
  • 1 Cup Fresh Water


  • First of all, Boil the water for at least 2-3 minutes. The ideal temperature should be around 100 to 120 Degrees Celsius.
  • When the liquid starts boiling, it is time to add the tea leavesTea leaves, when added to boiling water, give a perfect taste to your tea.
  • Keep stirring on a medium flame or 80 Degrees Celsius for 3-4 minutes. In this way, the flavor will be thoroughly dissolved in the water.
  • Now let the water infuse the black tea’s goodness on low flame or 50 to 60 degrees Celsius and cover the saucepan with a lid for about 2-3 minutes more.
  • Strain the tea immediately without waiting as excess waiting can lead to waste to the authentic taste of black tea.
  • Add sugar and Serve the tea in a cup and enjoy your perfectly brewed black tea.
