4 Easy To Find Ingredients:
- Loose Chamomile tea
- A cup of water
- Glass teapot
- Electric kettle
Brew It Hot:
- TEA: 1-tablespoon loose chamomile tea
- WATER: 1 cup
- WATER TEMPERATURE: 210°F
- STEEP TIME: 5 minutes
If possible, use filtered water to make the best tea.
I make my tea using an electric teakettle with the temperature set to 210°F.
You will need some water to warm your teapot. So it is better to boil some extra water.
Use the extra water from Step 1 to warm your teapot. Discard the water once the teapot is warm.
Pour in the water to be used to make the tea into the teapot. You can use two tablespoons of chamomile tea for every cup of tea if you want a more subtle flavor. But we will be using one tablespoon only for this recipe.
Steep the herbs for a minimum of 5 minutes. You can steep it for more time, but herbal teas, unlike green or black tea, do not over steep if you let them soak for long periods. Therefore, from my experience, 5 minutes are enough.
